Is this book applicable in deciduous forests? This means Europe, and even more specifically Middle-Europe; so there is no wealth of coniferous trees.

I am just starting out in this area, so I don't know if the type of forest matters. My intention is to go as far into this subject as possible as my intention is to be, medically, as self-sufficient as possible. Could anyone recommend books of that nature? I use it often. I love that it has pictures of the herbs so I can identify herbs on our own property more easily. There's so much useful information here: historical and modern uses for herbs, directions on how to prepare herbs for medicinal use, which herbs complement one another for certain conditions, etc.
