I think it is a big deal for pet owners to realize that a lot of people in their neighborhood also have pets, because it makes them realize that others appreciate the important and love of pets ". It is a great area in Los Angeles to raise children. It is secluded enough to feel like you are away from the city noise and traffic, and yet only 15 minutes from some of the highest end shopping and restaurants in the area.

Homes in this area are rarely on the market; most of my neighbors have lived here for at least 15 years and plan to for many more.

Mostly everyone takes pride in their home in our community, and looks out for each other in the neighborhood. It has been this way since it was built in the late s and continues to remain so only with the houses being continually updated and modernized! It is an expensive community, but proves to be well worth the investment. Very nice neighbors and it seems safe.

The administration needs to be more vigilant in obtaining details when an incident happens between two students. There is not always a student who needs punishment but the administration is quick to use this as a remedy. The teachers are human as well and they are not always right in every scenario just because they are the adult.

Parent Review 2y ago. Volcano Vista High School. Volcano Vista needs strong administration that will deal with the drug problem on campus. My child can't use a restroom on campus without being offered drugs. Administration is aware this is going on and is doing nothing! Tierra Antigua Elementary School. We love Tierra Antigua. The PTA is more active than any other school that I've seen. The school elects and pays for the Eureka Math program which is a much better program than you'll find anywhere else in APS the rest use Stepping Stones.

But over all has great personality and is safer than it appears. Kids play of all back grounds. The museums, Explora, and Tiguex Park are walking distance. It's a great area to ride a bike or walk your dog.
